Man shot in East Jackson
JACKSON,Tenn. — Police responded to a call regarding a robbery on Larimer Dr. According to the Jackson Police Department, a man was shot and is now suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Those who live in the area say they are shocked something like this happened. “I been here over 17 years, and it’s pretty much quiet,” said an East Jackson resident.
Residents said the victim had moved into the home where officers gathered, only a few months before the incident took place. Residents are just hoping for an end to all the violence. “I just hope they can put the guns down and you know, stay at peace.”
