Chester County basketball coaches dismissed

HENDERSON, Tenn. – A pair of basketball suspensions at Chester County have led to dismissals.

Chester Co.’s head boys basketball coach Tony Lambert and assistant John Phelps have been dismissed from their basketball duties, according to school principal Ricky Catlett.

“Coach Lambert and coach Phelps will not serve as CCHS basketball coaches due to violation of school board policy,” Catlett told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness Sports. “Both men will continue their employment as teachers in our district.”

Girls basketball coach Steve Robinson will serve as head coach for the remainder of the season.
