Woman hospitalized after Hardeman Co. crash involving tractor-trailer
HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman was transported to a Memphis hospital after a Monday night crash involving a tractor-trailer south of Medon.
The woman was traveling south on State Route 18 around 9 p.m. when the Ford Explorer she was driving crossed the center line and hit the northbound tractor-trailer almost head-on, according to a preliminary accident report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The woman, of Toone, was transported to Regional One in Memphis. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, of Hopkinsville, Ky., was not injured, according to the report.
No one has been charged in the wreck.
