Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Wednesday

Temperatures have been quickly dropping into the 20s across parts of West Tennessee thanks to calm winds and mostly clear skies. Temperatures will bottom out in the low to mid 20s by sunrise. Clouds will appear overhead briefly Thursday morning as a cold front passes through, but we should return to sunny skies by the afternoon. There’s a very low chance for us to see any light showers with this front tomorrow. Temperatures will max out in the low to mid 50s Thursday afternoon.

Temperatures will make it into the 60s this weekend with mid 60s possible on Sunday. Scattered showers will be possible on Sunday, especially during the afternoon and evening hours though that could still change.

Some rain may linger into Monday, but we’ll expect the next best chance for rain on Tuesday with a strong cold front that could bring thunderstorms to the Mid-South that day. Again, this is still several days away so there are going to be some changes in the forecast. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for further updates!

Have a good evening!
