#14 Union captures first place in Gulf South Conference
JACKSON, Tenn. – Union University’s women’s basketball team defeated Delta State 59-51 to collect first place in the Gulf South Conference.
Junior Tiara Caldwell finished with a game-high 25 points in the win.
Delta State was out rebounded by Union 43-26 on the glass.
Union continues their four-game homestand on Saturday against Mississippi College at 2 p.m.
