Supporters of presdential hopeful Marco Rubio rally in downtown Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — Supporters of Republican presidential hopeful Marco Rubio rallied Thursday in downtown Jackson.
About a dozen West Tennesseans gathered outside City Hall in support of the Florida senator.
Among those in attendance was State Senator Brian Kelsey of Germantown.
Attendees say they want Rubio to be the next president because he is a Christian family man.
“We’re organizing a leadership team for West Tennessee to go out and get the vote out on March 1 for Marco Rubio,” said Jay Bush, Madison County campaign co-chairman.
If you’re not registered to vote, you have to be registered by this coming Monday to cast a ballot in the March 1 primary.
