Log truck rollover temporarily blocks Hardin Co. highway

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. — Troopers responded Friday morning to a rollover crash involving a log truck.

The driver of the truck was traveling eastbound along Highway 114 and attempted to make a right turn onto Highway 128, just east of the Tennessee River Clifton Bridge, when the rollover occurred, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The driver of the log truck, who is from Paris, is listed as injured.

The truck was traveling too fast to make the turn and the truck, trailer and load experienced rollover as a result, according to the THP. No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

All lanes of Highway 128 were blocked except for the emergency lane along the westbound side of the road.

The driver of the truck was cited in the accident.
