Fire officials investigate blaze that destroyed Gibson Co. home

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A home is destroyed after an early Monday morning fire just north of Milan.

The home was fully engulfed when crews responded around 3:45 a.m. to the 300 block of Cades Atwood Road, according to the Gibson County Fire Department.

Fire officials say the home was being remodeled and that no one was living there.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, and State Bomb & Arson has been called in to investigate.
