Man found guilty in 2012 Crockett Co. murder

CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — A man was found guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday in a 2012 homicide.

A jury found Antonio Toomes guilty of first-degree murder in the October 2012 death of Matthew McKnight.

Toomes also was found guilty of especially aggravated burglary.

Toomes is scheduled to be sentenced at 9 a.m. June 13.
