Escaped inmate arrested in Forest
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) – Authorities say a Mississippi Department of Corrections parolee is back in custody.
WLBT TV reports Michael Lester Morgan was arrested Monday night in Forest.
Morgan escaped from the Rankin County Probation and Parole Office in Pearl on Feb. 4 after a revocation hearing.
The hearing was being held after Morgan’s arrest in Hinds County in December on charges of firearms possession, traffic violations and possession of a controlled substance.
