Recent drug bust in Weakley Co. leads to 2 more arrests
WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Two more people have been arrested in connection with a drug bust out of Palmersville.
The Weakley County Sheriff’s Office says after more investigation into a drug bust last week, officers returned to the home off of Webb Road on Friday with another search warrant.
They arrested Heather Dawn Williamson of Martin for possession of marijuana and Timothy Bill Williams for possession of methamphetamine.
“They had advised that they had hidden some, taken some meth from this property and put it in a ditch. The subject then went out and retrieved it,” said Capt. Terry McDade of the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say this investigation has resulted in the seizure of 11 ounces of crystal meth, two vehicles, eight firearms and more than $6,000 in cash.
