Sacred Heart senior commits to Bethel soccer
JACKSON, Tenn. — Familiarity played a big role in Anna Easley’s college decision.
The Sacred Heart standout signed her letter of intent to join Bethel University on Wednesday morning because it’s identical to her high school.
“What stood out to me about Bethel is it’s quite a bit like Sacred Heart just on a bigger scale,” Easley said. “They don’t always get the recognition they deserve.”
Easley will play midfielder/striker for the Lady Wildcats. She’s okay if she doesn’t see immediate success in her freshman year.
“Maybe not immediate because everything of course is always gradual, especially transitioning from high school to collegiate soccer,” Easley said. “But I hope to make an impact there all four years.”
Easley plans to major in physical therapy.
