Weather Update – 10:00 p.m. Wednesday
Skies will remain clear tonight with light winds from the east-southeast. Temperatures will once again drop to the low and middle 30s by sunrise at 6:40 a.m. Thursday. Mostly sunny skies with warmer air pushing into West Tennessee will allow high temperatures to reach the 60s on Thursday and Friday afternoon. Clouds will begin returning to the Mid-South on Friday afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches from the north.
Scattered showers will be possible this weekend with a likelier chance for the wet weather on Sunday. The cold front will slowly push south of West Tennessee Sunday night into Monday morning but an area of low pressure moving through the Mid-South will keep us under the chance for showers through early Wednesday. Colder weather will return to the area next week. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for updates to the forecast!
