Police seek 2 men posing as officers stopping motorists
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Police in Clarksville are looking for two men posing as police officers and pulling over are motorists.
Clarksville police say in a news release that the department received at least three reports from people claiming they were stopped and were asked in some cases for drugs or money.
The Leaf-Chronicle reports the men were in a four-door car equipped with a small red-and-blue flashlight on the dashboard. The department says it only uses blue lights.
Police say the suspects were wearing T-shirts and appeared to be in their mid-20s with closely cropped haircuts.
