Shane McCollough and Robin Nelson both were arrested after the early Wednesday morning incident, according to Investigator Steve Howe with the Dresden Police Department.

According to police, a man and woman went into Q-Mart in Dresden around 4 a.m. Wednesday and were behaving suspiciously.

The cashier hit the panic alarm, and when police arrived the pair fled the scene, leading officers in a car chase into Greenfield.

Police say the man put on a ski mask as he fled.

When the chase ended on a dead-end road, officers took the driver, Robin Nelson, into custody as the passenger fled on foot.

Police say they later found the man, identified as Shane McCullough, hiding in a tractor-trailer in Greenfield and arrested him after a short foot chase.

McCullough is charged with evading arrest and resisting arrest. Nelson is charged with evading arrest and reckless driving.
