City prepares to kick off ‘Month of Miracles’
JACKSON, Tenn. — The City of Jackson is gearing up for its annual “Month of Miracles.”
For the fourth year, volunteers will participate in “National Volunteer Month” in April by joining forces to work on various projects throughout the city.
Last year, more than 1,500 people participated and that number is expected to grow this year. Organizers said even the smallest gesture can make a big difference.
“Even if you can’t do anything yourself, you can always donate a can of paint or a little package of flower seeds. There’s always something you can do to help somebody else,” said Gail Gufstason of the Dream Center.
