Tenn. College of Applied Technology McKenzie creates Leap Year time capsule

McKENZIE, Tenn. — Tennessee College of Applied Technology in McKenzie celebrated Leap Day by placing items in a time capsule.

The capsule was built by the welding technology program, and students wrote letters and built items to be placed inside.

The capsule won’t be opened again until Leap Day falls on a Monday, which will be in the year 2044 — 28 years from now.
