Woman faces drug charges after search of Jackson motel room

JACKSON, Tenn. — A woman appeared Monday in city court on drug charges stemming from a search at the Scottish Inns motel in north Jackson.

Ashley Davis faces charges of drug possession, evading arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court documents show officers found liquid meth, scales, syringes and other equipment, commonly used to distribute the drug when they searched a room rented in her name.

Davis remains jailed in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
