1 hospitalized after north Jackson house fire

JACKSON, Tenn. — Fire officials confirm one person is hospitalized following a Tuesday night house fire in north Jackson.

City Fire Marshal Lamar Childress has confirmed the sole victim from the fire at a home on Rossfield Cove suffered burns to his face and chest and is hospitalized in the burn unit at Regional One in Memphis.

Childress also said two pet dogs died in that fire, which he said started in the kitchen on the stove.
