The church is hosting its first “Purpose Driven Escape Room”, two different room puzzles to raise money for their upcoming mission trip to El Salvador. The team will leave in July.

“Not everybody can go, but everybody can participate, so for me it’s encouraging to have the support from our church and from our community, even more than it is to have the funds,” Abair said.

The church has raised around $1,200 after the weekend-long escape room adventure. If you missed this round of puzzles, the church said they plan on hosting another one this May.

The church is also hosting a 5K on April 2 at 8AM to raise money for the trip. You can register here.

They will be building homes, feeding the homeless, and working in orphanages in El Salvador. This is the church’s second year to serve there.
