Truck carrying lettuce overturns in Benton County
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A semi truck overturns in Benton County on I-40 at Exit 133.
Officials said on Saturday, the driver of the truck took a turn too fast and flipped the vehicle. Deputies said they had to cut the passenger out, and he was airlifted to Vanderbilt where he is in serious condition.
The truck was carrying lettuce from North Carolina, and deputies say the driver cut the corner too quickly.
