Arraignment soon for suspect in Starkville teen’s death

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) – Arraignment is expected Monday for a man arrested in the shooting death of a Starkville teenager.

Twenty-eight-year-old Neal Anthony Anderson of Starkville was arrested at the scene of Friday night’s shooting.

Starkville police told the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that officers responding to a call at an apartment complex found the teen suffering from an apparent gunshot. He died at the scene. Anderson was jailed on a murder charge.
