St. Louis Brass plays at Union University

JACKSON, Tenn. — A concert featuring only brass instruments is set for Tuesday night on the Union University campus.

Brass concertThe school is hosting St. Louis Brass in a free concert. The quintet, whose members came from the St. Louis symphony, combine music and humor in their concerts.

Organizers say there is music that everyone can enjoy from classical to pop.

“A, They’ll hear some really excellent music played well. B, they’ll see people having fun making music. And C, they’ll learn to enjoy music more themselves.” said Terry McRoberts of the school’s music department.

St. Louis Brass will appear in concert at 7:30 p.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel on campus.
