JMCSS school bus hits man on bicycle

JACKSON, Tenn. — A bus driver for the Jackson-Madison County School System hit a man riding a bicycle Tuesday morning.

The incident happened near the intersection of Skyline Drive and Summar Avenue near Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, according to a statement from the school system.

The man did not receive life-threatening injuries, according to the release.

The bus driver will be off duty pending an investigation.
