Judge resets hearing for 4 men charged in brutal Decatur Co. beating
DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — The four men charged in a savage beating and rape of a man in Decatur County appeared Monday morning in court.
But the hearing for the four suspects in the February kidnapping, beating and rape didn’t last long.
Defense attorneys petitioned the court for more time to prepare, saying they’d been hired only three days ago.
Although the state had six to eight witnesses from Mississippi ready to testify, the judge granted the motion, resetting the hearing for April 25.
