Police seize marijuana, lollipops laced with THC in Seminary
SEMINARY, Miss. (AP) – Police in Seminary say they have recently seized lollipops laced with THC.
WJTV-TV reports the Seminary Police Department says in a statement that officers seized the items over the weekend as well as a large amount of marijuana and a device used to inhale THC wax.
Officials say officers have been noticing the new trend lately in Covington County.
Police say THC, which is the active ingredient in marijuana, has various psychological and physiological effects. Authorities say in large doses hallucinations can occur.
