Motorcycle traffic stop leads to drug charges for Martin man
MARTIN, Tenn. — A motorcycle traffic stop Tuesday night leads to multiple drug charge against a Martin man.
An officer pulled over Jeffery Davis, 52, around 10:30 p.m. as Davis was driving a motorcycle with expired tags along Elm Street, according to a release from the Martin Police Department. The officer also knew Davis’ driver’s license had been revoked.
During a search, police found 6.9 grams of methamphetamine, a glass smoking pipe, 10 Phentermine capsules, nine Adderall tablets, nine and a half Hydrocodone tablets, one Oxycodone tablet and one gram of marijuana, according to the release.
Officers also reportedly seized numerous pieces of jewelry and $274 in cash.
Davis is charged with possession of schedule II with intent, possession of schedule II drugs, possession of schedule III drugs, possession of schedule VI drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
Davis is set to appear Thursday in Weakley County General Sessions Court.
