Marvio Lee Cheairs was formally charged Thursday morning after reportedly selling a car in 2013 that wasn’t his to someone for scrap.

According to court documents, Cheairs was extradited from Kentucky after he pleaded guilty to the charge under someone else’s name. The affidavit says this caused a “large amount of expense.”

Cheairs is currently being held in the Madison County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
