“Eggsplosion” in North Jackson draws hundreds for non-traditional egg hunt
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local church hosted an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, but it wasn’t a traditional hunt.
SoulQuest Church hosted an “Eggsplosion” course Saturday morning, an obstacle Easter egg course where kids had to crawl, run, and climb to grab as many eggs as they could.
The church said they want to stand out, and this egg course is just a reflection of who they are.
“Our church’s vision is to do whatever it takes to reach the lost and un-churched of Jackson, Tennessee; and one of the ways we do that is by being creative. So that’s one of our core values so we are just trying to be as creative here as we can and be as creative as we can on Sundays to reach as many people as we can,” Operations Pastor Austin Coleman said.
The church also hosted a traditional hunt for the younger kids as well as inflatables and lunch.
