Chester Co. Library offers mobile hotspot rental

CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — A local library has new technology to make it easier for residents to access the Internet.

Library hotspot rentalThe Chester County Library bought four mobile hotspots that can be checked out free of charge.

With the hotspot, library card holders can get online even where there’s no WiFi. The library has already started a waiting list.

“We are a very rural county,” Library Director Nancy Canada said. “There are lots and lots of people in our area that do not have the Internet simply because it doesn’t go out where they live.”

Hotspots can be checked out from the Chester County Library one week at a time.
