Man dies after early morning Madison Co. wreck

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man has died from injuries he sustained in an early morning wreck in north Madison County.

Roy Clint Mitchell, 27, was airlifted to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis and later died of his injuries, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

Deputies responded at 2:42 a.m to the call about the wreck at Old Medina Road and Baker’s Chapel Road.

Mitchell was the only person involved in the one-vehicle crash, according to the release.

The wreck is still under investigation.
