Mississippi to reopen 2 oyster areas
BILOXI, Miss. (AP) – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is reopening two oyster areas.
DMR spokeswoman Melissa Scallan said Tuesday that both areas will reopen for harvesting at legal sunrise Wednesday.
The affected areas are:
Area II “E,” which includes Square Handkerchief Reef and southern portions of Henderson Point Reef and Area II “F,” which includes southern portions of the Pass Christian Reef.
