Excel Club makes monetary donation to Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center
JACKSON, Tenn.- Members of the Excel Club of Madison Academic make a big monetary donation to the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
The donation took place Thursday afternoon at Madison Academic High School. The Excel Club is an extension of the Jackson Exchange Club and shares the mission of ending child abuse.
“It gives us experience helping in the community. It also sort of ignites a drive in us to, not only help the community now while we’re in high school but to do other projects, when we graduate,” said Anna Cowan, communications director with the Excel Club.
They also said they hope their donation of $1,100 will make a big impact on the community.
