Second Best Buy employee arrested on embezzlement charges
JACKSON, Tenn. — One day after a Jackson Best Buy employee was arrested for embezzlement using gift cards, a second employee has been arrested on similar charges.
It was reported to police that Zach Denton, 24, had stolen $1000.00 from the business by withholding gift cards from customers, according to the affidavit.
Denton sold customers items, withheld cards and kept them for his personal use on five occasions between 09/27/15 and 12/24/15, the court documents say.
Denton is charged with theft of property over $1000.00.
He is currently out on bond.
