Generals players get a chance to meet their fans

JACKSON, Tenn — The Jackson Generals fans got a chance to meet the players up close and personal for their annual meet and greet, at Englewood Baptist Church.

First year players got to experience how much these fans love their team.

Meet The GeneralsFirst baseman Jordan Seager is new to the Generals, but he relishes this opportunity to impact a kids life, with one signature.

“Just fan support in general, but you know coming here, actually getting to meet some of the people, and, you know, introducing myself and signing autographs if needed, and that sort of thing,” Seager said.

Fans of all ages lined up for autographs, with excitement the season is about to kick off.

Right handed relief pitcher, Emilio Pagan, is excited for the success the team could have this season.

“I’m expecting a lot of excitement, I think we got a good team, I think we’re going to have a fun year,” Pagan said.

The Generals are set to take the field against the Montgomery Biscuts, Thursday night at 7 p.m. at The Ballpark At Jackson.
