Police investigate reported shooting in east Jackson
EAST JACKSON — Officers responded Wednesday afternoon to a shooting in east Jackson.
Police are investigating after reports of shots fired into a car with people inside along Mount Street. No injuries have been reported.
Multiple gunshots were fired near the intersection of Mount and Hardee streets, according to Lt. Phillip Stanfill with the Jackson Police Department.
Police recovered at least a dozen shell casings at the scene and are searching for suspects.
