Officers find woman accused of fleeing courthouse in handcuffs
DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman accused of running away from the courthouse Monday while handcuffed has been arrested.
Officers arrested Jodie Lowery without incident around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. She was found hiding inside a dryer in a home on Hughes Road in Scotts Hill.
Lowery is accused of running from the courthouse Monday and then getting into a pickup truck that fled the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
The man deputies say drove the getaway truck was arrested later that day.
Lowery was found by Decatur County deputies, Decaturville police, Scotts Hill police and state troopers.
