Attorney General: Picayune man was making child porn
PICAYUNE, Miss. (AP) – Authorities have arrested a 39-year-old Picayune man for allegedly producing child pornography and sexually abusing a 7-year-old.
Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood said in a news release David Owens was arrested Wednesday on charges of production and possession of child pornography and sexual battery of a minor
Hood says Owens was arrested at his home.
Authorities said they found Owens in possession of child sexual exploitation videos and photos. Hood says Owens also was found to be producing child porn and sexually abusing a 7-year-old.
Officers booked him into the Pearl River County jail.
Online jail records did not list an attorney for him.
