“Boots, Bands and Bingo” highlight Jackson Service League fundraiser
DENMARK, Tenn.-The Kimberlie Helton Band took the stage in Denmark Friday night for a night of “Boots, Bands and Bingo”…all for a good cause at “The Barn” at Snider Farms.
The event is one of the Jackson Service League’s biggest fundraisers, which gives back to a number of local non-profits.
Organizers told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News it is all about coming together.
“We wanted an idea… a fun event for spring and we just kind of thought that that would all mesh well together. We are working women and we just come together for one great cause, ” said Cecilia Hammond with the Jackson Service League.
Hundreds of people came out to “The Barn” for the big fundraiser. Organizations benefiting from the event include RIFA, The Dream Center, WRAP and the Boys and Girls Club.
