Officers nab out-of-state fugitive at Paris motel
PARIS, Tenn. — Officers arrested a fugitive wanted in Texas and Florida after getting word he would be in the Henry County area.
Michael Andres Rotunno was taken into custody Thursday with the help of a K-9, according to a release from the Paris Police Department.
Police say Rotunno was wanted in Harrison County, Texas, and Holmes County, Florida.
Paris police and Henry County deputies arrested Rotunno outside a local motel. He attempted to flee but was quickly taken into custody, according to the release.
Officers say Rotunno was driving a stolen truck from Marshall, Texas.
Rotunno was transported to the Henry County Jail after being treated for dog bites at the Henry County Medical Center. He is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
