Obion Co. man charged with exposing child to meth

UNION CITY, Tenn. — Union City police have taken a man into custody for allegedly exposing a minor to methamphetamine.

Officers and a Department of Children’s Services investigator reported to the home of Eddie Brady in February concerning a referral involving drug use, according to a police report. Brady denied any drug use and refused to take a drug screen. Officials say DCS advised they would have Eddie and the children take a follicle test.

Test results show that Eddie and one child tested positive for meth, according to court documents.

Authorities say the children have been removed from the home.

Eddie Brady has been charged with one count of aggravated child abuse.

He is set to return to court April 14.
