Jackson college to conduct active shooter drills Monday
JACKSON, Tenn. –The Jackson State Community College Department of Safety and Security in conjunction with law enforcement and emergency response agencies will be conducting an active shooter drill on the main campus of JSCC.
According to officials, in a continuing effort to have emergency response plans in place, a series of drills will be held to simulate active shooter scenarios.
They are being conducted to ensure that JSCC personnel, students, and local agencies are able to respond in the most efficient and appropriate manner if such an event were to occur.
The drills are scheduled to take place Monday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
