Police: Man broke into ex-girlfriend’s home, threatened her with knife

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson man accused of breaking into a home to threaten a woman’s life appeared Monday in city court.

Court papers say Frank Harris III broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home Friday night through a screen door.

The woman told police she hid in a bathroom while Harris threatened her with a knife. She tried to take the knife from him and her hand was cut in the process, according to court documents.

Harris faces charges including aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and criminal trespassing.

He remains in custody in lieu of a $15,000 bond.
