North Side baseball grinds out win over Millington

JACKSON, Tenn — A game-winning run on a passed ball gave North Side a 4-3 victory over Millington Wednesday night.

With 4 freshman starting on the diamond for the Indians, coach Rob Maxwell said they’re seeing the team grow up right before them.

“We had a group of guys that decided they wanted to win today. We came to the park expecting to win and so that’s a big part of winning is expecting to win and learning how to win and with a young group of guys, we’re getting there,” Coach Maxwell said. “We’re learning how to win and that’s one of the biggest obstacles to get over with with a young team.”

North Side gets back into action Saturday when they host Halls.
