Case sent to grand jury for suspects in Jackson police chase

JACKSON, Tenn. — Two of the three suspects charged in a car and foot chase in midtown Jackson appeared Thursday in city court where their cases were turned over to a grand jury.

John Martin and Sangria Baker are two of the three suspects accused of leading police on a car and foot chase March 29 in midtown Jackson.

After several officers testified, the judge ruled there is enough evidence to send the case to the grand jury.

Each faces multiple counts including drug, gun and evading arrest charges.
