‘Bunny Run’ car show under way at Fairgrounds Park

JACKSON, Tenn. — Just in time for the great weather, a busy weekend kicks off in Jackson with the “Bunny Run” car show sponsored by Jackson’s Rod and Custom Car Club.

Classic cars made as late as 1986 met at the Fairgrounds Park as fans of the 24-year-strong event stop by.

Participants like Zach Lofdahal, driving a 1954 Chevy, say it’s worth the drive.

“I like seeing the little kids or other people that don’t have cars come back and appreciate it,” Lofdahal said. “It’s like an artwork, seeing different old cars and the time and the skills that people take and put into their hobby, their love.”

The event continues Saturday with awards and an Easter Hat contest.
