Jackson police seek to ID woman in nail salon thefts

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are asking the public to help identify a woman they believe stole cash and other items from a nail salon.

Lexus Nail theftsThe incident happened April 8 at Lexus Nails, located at 1081 Vann Drive, according to a report from the Jackson Police Department.

Police say two black women entered the business and that one of them stayed by the door while the other asked where the restroom was.

The woman who went toward the restroom entered several employee-only office areas and stole cash, keys and a watch, according to the report.

Both women left the business before anyone noticed the thefts.

Anyone who recognizes the woman in the security image or has any other information in the case is asked to call Jackson police at 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-TIPS (8477).
