Marcus Lorenzo Graves is charged in two robberies that took place in the summer of 2015 after being linked to both by DNA evidence, according to court documents.

The first is a June 12 incident in which Graves is accused of breaking into a Park Avenue home and stealing a flat-screen TV, $800 in cash and other electronics.

Police say they collected blood evidence at the scene and submitted it to the TBI crime lab which matched it with Graves.

The second burglary took place June 22 and involved the theft of three air conditioners in the area of Wisdom Street.

A resident told police a man had asked him for a ride and had three window air conditioners. When a police car turned onto the street, the man reportedly fled on foot, leaving behind the air conditioners and a shirt.

Police say a DNA check at the TBI crime lab linked the shirt to Graves.

Graves is charged with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000 in both cases.
