LANA hosts clean-up day for Lake Campbell

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local neighborhood rolled up their sleeves this morning to brighten up one of their favorite spots.

The Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association hosted their annual Lake Campbell clean-up day.

Around 20 volunteers picked up trash, brush, and other debris around the lake.

Some volunteers even cleaned on and inside the lake, taking kayaks to clean the hard to reach places.

“We enjoy cleaning up making it nice for people because all over town either grew up hearer or come out here their children love to be out here fishing a lot of people get out on kayaks its just a nice place,” Brad Greer with LANA said.
