Man accused of firing shotgun in east Jackson neighborhood

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man accused of firing a shotgun several times in an east Jackson neighborhood is facing a reckless endangerment charge.

Jones reckless endangermentEmmanuel Jones was arrested Saturday night after police at Oman Arena heard several gunshots, according to court papers.

A witness on North Hays Avenue told officers he saw a man running from the area with a shotgun.

Police located Jones at a Walsh Street address and saw a shotgun in a trash can beside the residence.

The witness identified Jones as the person shooting the shotgun, according to police.

Jones is free on a $5,000 bond.
